The traditional hard-packed and hilly circuit of Teutschenthal, Germany, will host the eighth round of nineteen in the 2018 MXGP series. Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing's Jeremy Van Horebeek has almost returned to full strength following the Scaphoid injury he sustained in March and he is optimistic about making a return to the podium. Meanwhile Romain Febvre will be on damage control as he looks to nurse an injured right-arm home for as many points as possible....

GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team's Federico Caricasulo secured his third podium of the season in his home race at Round 5 of the 2018 FIM Supersport World Championship in Imola. The 22-year-old Italian charged from fourth on the grid and was battling for the race win right until the chequered flag before crossing the line in second and missing out on the victory by just 0.363s. Reigning WorldSSP Champion, Lucas Mahias, started from pole and broke away in the early stages of the race before a small crash on lap 5 saw him re-join in 20th place. In a sensational fightback, he carved his way through the field to secure eighth at the line and limit the damage to his 2018 championship aspirations. European Supersport Cup rider Alfonso Coppola produced his best result of the season to finish in 19th as he continues to impress in his rookie WorldSSP season....

Hot and sunny conditions played host to a grueling seventh round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Kegums, Latvia, where Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing's Jeremy Van Horebeek banked sixth overall. Following his impressive third-place finish in Race One, Romain Febvre crashed out of the race, and podium contention, in the final outing. He still finished eleventh-place in the Grand Prix overall and remains fourth in the 2018 MXGP Championship Standings....

Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team's Alex Lowes mounted a superb charge through the field in Race 2 at Imola on Sunday at Round 5 of the 2018 FIM Motul Superbike World Championship. The British rider lined up 12th on the grid and when the lights went out immediately showed podium pace and was on a charge before he ran off track. Recovering and getting straight back into his rhythm to do it all again, Lowes blazed his way to a sixth-place finish to mirror his teammate's result from Race 1. Michael van der Mark started from the front row and was battling in the podium group when he made a small mistake and crashed out of the race on lap 9, recording his first DNF of 2018....

Quickly getting to grips with the premier 250cc class, Kemea Yamaha Official MX2's 18-year-old rookie sensation put in a hair-raising performance in both races at the Latvian Grand Prix, round seven of the FIM MX2 World Championship, to stand on the second step of the podium for the first time in his career. The talented youngster handed the Kemea Yamaha Official MX2 Team their second consecutive piece of silverware, after Ben Watson's third-place at the Russian Grand Prix, and has moved up four positions in the championship chase, to seventh. Watson was fifth overall this weekend and maintains fourth in the championship classification....

The five Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Challenge riders battled hard on Saturday at Round 3 of the 2018 Supersport 300 World Championship in Imola. Once again it was Galang Hendra Pratama who led the charge in SP2 by qualifying in 10th, although a grid penalty for riding slowly on the racing line means he will line up in 14th on the grid for Sunday's race. Dennis Koopman will start the race from 26th on the grid, Hugo de Cancellis in 32nd, Joep Overbeeke in 36th & Luca Bernardi in 39th....

It has not been the easiest start for the five Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Challenge riders to the 2018 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship, but all of that changed on Sunday at Round 3 of the season at a sun-drenched Imola. Galang Hendra Pratama showcased his talent to the world as he charged from 14th on the grid to take a stunning fifth-place finish after battling for the podium the entire race. Local hero Luca Bernardi was on fire too and had a sensational race, blasting his way through the pack and putting on a show for the Italian fans as he rode from 39th on the grid to cross the line in 12th. Dennis Koopman followed up his 15th in Assen by crossing the line in 14th in Italy, while Hugo de Cancellis rode from 32nd on the grid to 18th and Joep Overbeeke made up 14 places from his starting position to finish in 22nd....

MJC Yamaha Official EMX125's exceptionally talented Frenchman Thibault Benistant achieved a pair of career milestones at round three of the EMX125 Championship in Kegums, Latvia, where he won his first ever EMX125 race and stood on the podium for the first time in his career. He has now moved up into second place in the EMX125 Championship Standings....
